Colonial Havana

Visit the areas of Havana declared by UNESCO as World Heritage. These are; the system of fortification surrounding the Havana Bay and the Historic Center of Havana. Part of this excursion will be a walking tour for the main squares of Old Havana.

PROGRAM:

a) Pickup at the Hotel or house of guest.

b) Visit to the Morro - Cabaña Park’s external areas. Our customers will enjoy; not only the magnificent colonial military architecture, but also the lovely view of Old Havana and the Malecón Avenue at the other side of the bay.

c) Panoramic view of the Avenida del Puerto. Stop at Plaza San Francisco de Asís to start the walking tour inside the Historic Center. The walking tour include the visit to the 4 main squares of Old Havana; Plaza San Francisco De Asís, Plaza Vieja, Plaza de Armas and Plaza de la Catedral). During the route will be also seen the place in which, according to the tradition, was founded Havana in November 16th 1519, the Palacio de los Capitanes Generales, today the Museo de La Ciudad, El Castillo de La Fuerza among others emblematic colonial buildings.

d) Visit the Bodeguita del Medio.

e) Pick up of the classic car to continue a panoramic view of Old Havana. During this stage of the excursion will be observed, among others, the Parque Central, Hotel Inglaterra (the oldest hotel in Havana), Gran Teatro de La Habana, El Capitolio Nacional.

f) Visit to the Museo del Ron, to learn the secrets of the Cuban rum’s production and, at the end, taste one of the best ones.

g) Visit the main market of craftwork in Havana.

h) Return to the origin site.
